Cody Trujillo

Adams State University | Student Trustee

Cody is currently pursuing his Bachelors in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting. During his time at Adams State University, Cody discovered his passion for student advocacy. After serving his first year as a Business Senator and second year as Vice President of Finance for the Associated Students and Faculty, he realized that the Student Trustee position was a perfect fit for him. 

With his background is debate and public speaking, Cody plans to fight for student voices on campus. Despite a past riddled with failed attempts, Mr. Trujillo refuses to give up on anything. With his tenacity and radical honesty, he hopes to help Adams State University grow as an inclusive and accepting environment.

Mr. Trujillo loves being involved around campus. When he is not serving as Student Trustee -- he can be found practicing his conversation skills for the Agricultural Business Club, or business savvy for Phi Beta lambda. In addition to his club involvement, Cody is also involved in various committees, such as the Campus Impact Fund, Curriculum Innovation Team, Public Relations Committee, and Budget Committee.

After graduation, Cody plans on attending Denver University to obtain his Masters in Taxation. In the future, he intends to create his own business which sets a higher standard for equal opportunity in the work place.
