Amy Latham joined the Colorado Health Foundation in 2008, serving in communications, program officer and program director roles before becoming the vice president of philanthropy in December 2015. Amy is passionate about creating opportunities for all Coloradans to live healthy, fulfilling lives. She loves being part of an organization with a meaningful mission that reflects her belief in the greatest good for the greatest number.
Amy’s work at the Foundation has centered on developing strategies to bring health in reach of all Coloradans. She and her team dedicate their efforts to making lasting impact through various tools, including funding initiatives and programs; partnerships; grants that support innovative ideas; and community engagement.
Amy’s commitment to health and equity is long-lasting. She moved to Colorado from Missouri, where she was director of communications and public policy for the Missouri Family Health Council, a nonprofit health care organization. She began her career as a newspaper reporter and later worked in public relations and strategic communications for a telecommunications company before entering the nonprofit world.
Today, Amy serves as the board vice chair of the Colorado Association of Funders and as a member of the Colorado Nonprofit Association’s Board of Directors. She works tirelessly to serve, strengthen and build bridges with communities across Colorado.
Amy holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Tulane University and a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Missouri.
